Client Relations Consulting 5-Star PodcastLe Nessay holds a rare position: a headland to itself, between two beaches, a short walk from the village of Saint-Briac. A setting like that could be enough to fill a hotel on its own. Which is precisely why the question of service matters more here than elsewhere — when the place already impresses, the welcome must never be the least memorable part of it.
The engagement took two forms. First an audit of the guest journey, followed end to end from check-in to check-out: the arrival, the handling of luggage, the presentation of the room, breakfast, the response to an unexpected request, down to the last words on departure. Every touchpoint recorded, then set down in a report submitted to management.
Then the microphone. Le Nessay was the subject of a podcast episode: the floor given to the people who make the house what it is, on their vision of service and what they set out to pass on to their guests. A format that extends the audit by other means — where the report analyses, the conversation tells.
You reach Le Nessay along a drive, and then the sea appears all at once, on both sides. There are the pines bent by the wind, the moored boats stretching to the horizon, the shifting light of the Emerald Coast. And inside, the very opposite of showiness: soft tones, wood, linen — a house that lets the landscape speak.

A Headland of Its Own
The property occupies the tip of the Nessay, surrounded by sea on three sides, between the Petite Salinette and Béchet beaches. An isolation of only a few metres, but one that changes everything: you are at the edge of the village and yet entirely elsewhere.

The Brick Château
Built at the end of the 19th century on the remains of an old stronghold, the red-brick building and its turrets long watched over the bay in abandonment. It took a year of works to turn it into a hotel without stripping it of its air of a family house.

Every Room Faces the Sea
Pastel tones, antique furniture, linen — and the bay in every window. The Poterne rooms, tucked away in the garden, offer the same privilege with one further step towards seclusion.

The Table and the Pâtisserie
Seasonal produce, bistronomic at lunch and more considered in the evening. And a rarity for a house of this size: its own pâtisserie, where the day's pastries and tarts are collected.
